The number is the recipe
The number in each name is how many ingredients went into the bottle. Pepper Noir is 31, Lovers Aoud is 47, Smoke Show is 59. If it took 47 raw materials to get it right, it is called 47.
Perfume, not eau de parfum
Every luxury house will tell you theirs is Eau de Parfum. Ours is not. We use a higher percentage of oil, around 30%, so it lasts longer on your skin. We call it Perfume because we are English and that is what it is.
Cast by hand
The concrete cap, the wooden box, the linen bag. None of it is made to look luxurious. It is made to be used every day and still feel right a year from now. We cast every cap by hand, so not one is the same.
Made in runs of 100
We make it in runs of 100, numbered as they go. When a batch sells out, we start the next one, never quite identical, always made the same stubborn way.
